 Teguise is the old capital of Lanzarote, not to be confused with Costa Teguise, which is entirely different kind of place!The village of Teguise is situated in the centre of the island, where for one day a week (Sunday) it becomes thronged with tourists looking for a bargain at the morning market. Here, you will find some lovely, crafty, gift shops to treat yourself or for presents to take home, but beware! It does get very, very busy!
